•Problem:Thebuilt-inbatterycannotbefullychargedinthestandardchargetimewhenthecomputeris
poweredoff.
Solution:Thebatterymightbeover-discharged.Dothefollowing:
1.Turnoffthecomputer.
2.Connecttheacpoweradaptertothecomputerandletitcharge.
Ifaquickchargerisavailable,useittochargetheover-dischargedbuilt-inbattery.
Ifthebuilt-inbatterycannotbefullychargedin24hours,callLenovoCustomerServiceCentertohave
itserviced.
•Problem:Yourcomputershutsdownbeforethebatterystatusiconshowsthatthebatteryisempty,or
thecomputeroperatesafterthebatterystatusiconshowsthatthebatteryisempty.
Solution:Dischargeandrechargethebuilt-inbattery.
•Problem:Theoperatingtimeforafullychargedbuilt-inbatteryisshort.
Solution:Dischargeandrechargethebuilt-inbattery.Ifyourbatteryoperatingtimeisstillshort,call
LenovoCustomerServiceCentertohaveitserviced.
•Problem:Thecomputerdoesnotoperatewithafullychargedbuilt-inbattery.
Solution:Thesurgeprotectorinthebuilt-inbatterymightbeactive.Turnoffthecomputerforoneminute
toresettheprotector;thenturnonthecomputeragain.
•Problem:Thebuilt-inbatterycannotbecharged.
Solution:Youcannotchargethebatterywhenitistoohot.Turnoffthecomputerandallowittocoolto
roomtemperature.Afteritcools,rechargethebattery.Ifitstillcannotbecharged,callLenovoCustomer
Servicetohaveitserviced.
Anacpoweradapterproblem
Problem:Theacpoweradapterisconnectedtothecomputerandtheworkingelectricaloutlet,butthe
poweradapter(powerplug)iconisnotdisplayedonthetaskbar.Alsothesystemstatusindicatordoesnot
blink.
Solution:Dothefollowing:
1.Ensurethattheconnectionoftheacpoweradapteriscorrect.Forinstructionsonconnectingtheac
poweradapter,seeSafety,Warranty,andSetupGuidethatcomeswithyourcomputer.
2.Iftheconnectionoftheacpoweradapteriscorrect,turnoffthecomputer,thendisconnecttheac
poweradapter.
3.Reconnecttheacpoweradapter,thenturnonthecomputer.
4.Ifthepoweradaptericonstillisnotdisplayedonthetaskbarandthesystemstatusindicatordoesnot
blink,havetheacpoweradapterandyourcomputerserviced.
