Test Speech
Text Speech reads a text file and the data stuck on the clip board.
To read out a text file:
1. Tap Start, Programs, then Text Speech.

If the next mail header is chosen during reading of an
email, it stops the voice synthesis and the reading, then it
starts reading the newly selected mail.
Mail information displayed in the mail header information
area is descending order, that is the older mails are on
the top and the newer mails are shown in the lower area,
by every service.
After all mail is read, the voice service announces, "There
is no more unread file.?
When there is an attached file, the voice service
announces "with attachment". It does not announce the
"TO" or "CC" of a mail header.
While reading an email, DO NOT synchronize your
Toshiba Pocket PC e800/e805 with the PC.
The text may not be displayed correctly depending on the
mailer of the sender. US ASCII (us-ascii) and 8-bit Western
Europe (iso-8859-x) character code are supported. In
case of other codes than the above is used, it may not be
displayed correctly. The text used 8-bit Western Europe
sometimes may not be displayed correctly and the voice
synthesis works incorrectly.
A difference may be between the text displayed by the
mailer of Pocket PC and the text currently displayed by
Mail Speech. To read out the text displayed in mailer of
Pocket PC, copy and paste it into Text Speech to use the
