News and Weather
News and Weather allows you to
view the weather in your location and
read the latest stories, sports, and
entertainment news headlines on
your device.
Access it: > News and Weather
• Swipe your finger to the right or
left to browse the categories.
• Touch a headline to open
Browser and view the complete
story.
• To refresh News and Weather,
touch Menu > Refresh.
Settings
Access it: > News and
Weather > Menu > Settings
Weather Settings
Touch Weather settings, then touch
the following options:
• Use my location: Check to
automatically determine your
location.
• Set location: Set your location
manually. To enable this function,
disable Use my location first.
• Use Celsius: Check to use
Celsius as the unit of
temperature; uncheck to use
Fahrenheit.
News Settings
Touch News settings, then touch
the following options:
• Select news topics: Select to
choose the type of news topics
to display on your device.
