Set Shared Location
Use this function to set how you
want to share your location to a
particular friend.
1. Touch a friend.
2. Touch Sharing options.
3. Touch one of the following
options:
• Share best available
location: To allow this friend to
see your detailed location.
• Share only city level
location: To allow this friend to
see your city level location.
• Hide from this friend: This
friend cannot see your location.
Hide Your Location
Access it: > Maps > Menu >
Latitude
Touch Menu > Privacy > Hide
your location to hide your location
from your friends.
Check Nearby Places
Use this function to check for
landmarks close to your friend’s
location.
Access it: > Maps > Menu >
Latitude
1. Touch a friend.
2. Touch What’s nearby?. Nearby
establishments are shown in a
list.
Turn Off Latitude
Access it: > Maps > Menu >
Latitude > Menu > Privacy >
Turn off Latitude.
