Troubleshoot
Ifthedeviceisnotworkingproperly,pleasechecktroubleshootbelow.
1. CheckelectricaloutletisproperlypluggedintotheAP5541andthedeviceispoweron.
2. CheckLEDlightstatusonthedeviceisworkingproperly.FormoreinformationcheckLEDbehavior.
Powerlightisoff
• ChecktheAP5541isproperlyplug
gedintotheACelectricalwalloutlet.Ifstillnotworking,changeanotherelectrical
outletormakesureelectricaloutletisworkproperly.
• Ifthedevicestillcannotbeoverpowerednormally,itmaybethatpoweradapterisdefectiveandmustbereplaced.
*Note:Pleaseusethepoweradapterweprovide.Theoutputvo
ltageis+12VDC/1.5A.Makesureyouplugintheright
voltage.Pleasecontactyourcablecompanyforreplacementwhenpoweradapterisnotfunctionnormally.
Afterthedeviceisturnedon1min,LEDredlightisturnonorflashing
‐ Makesurethecomputernetworkca
rddriverisinstalledcorrectly/uptodate.
‐ CheckwhetherthecomputernetworkissettoobtainanIPaddressautomatically.IfthecomputerissettoobtainanIP
addressautomatically,pleasecheckwhetherthenetworkconnectioniscorrect.
‐ IftheLEDredlightcontinuouslybrightorflashingfor5minute,itmeanstha
ttheMeshnetworkcannotestablish
normalservicesorcannotobtainanIPaddress.Pleasecontactyourinternetserviceprovidertoreportforrepairs.

canchangethepositionofthewirelessbasestationuntiltheblueorgreenLEDlightofthewirelessdeviceissteadyor
LEDlightisconstantlyon,indicatingthattheMeshnetworkestablishedbythewireless stationandthecablemodemis
stable,properlyreceivingandsendingWi‐Fisignals,andtheda
tatransmissionspeedishigh.

Beforecallingyourinternetserviceprovider,trypressingtheResetbuttonontherearpaneloftheAP5541.Pleasenote,if
youpresstheResetbut
ton,youwillloseallyourcustomconfigurationsettings,includingFirewallandAdvancedsettings.
