Static Multicast Filtering
Static multicast filtering is the system by that end stations only receive multicast traffic if they
register to join specific multicast groups. With multicast filtering, network devices only forward
multicast traffic to the ports that are connected to registered end stations.
Multicast Filtering Interface
Label Description
IP Address Assign a multicast group IP address within the range of
224.0.0.0 through 239.255.255.255
Member Ports Select port numbers to include them as the member ports in
the specific multicast group IP address.
Add Show current IP multicast list
Delete Delete an entry from the table.
