Using
the
Reset
Button
WARNING:
Pressing
the
reset
switch
destroys
any
information
in
the
computer's
memory
unless
that
data
is
first
saved.
Under
certain
conditions
the
computer
may
"lock
up"—that
is,
it
will
not
accept
input
from
the
keyboard.
You can use
the
RESET
button
(located
on
the
right
side
of
the
computer)
to
free
the
keyboard.
RESET—
C128/64
Modes
When
you
press
RESET
in
these
modes,
the
screen
clears
and
the
initial
screen
display
for
whatever
mode
you
are
in
reappears.
RESET—CP/M
Mode
When
you
press
RESET
in
this
mode,
CP/M
3.0
reboots,
bring
ing
you
back
to
the
opening
screen
display.
Note
that
the
CP/M
system
disk
must
be
in
the
drive
when
you
press
RESET.
Pressing
RESET
resets
both
the
computer
and
the
disk
drive.
Using
the Drive
Reset
Button
Under
certain
conditions
you
may
want
to
reset
the
disk
drive
with
out
resetting
the
computer.
In
this
case
you
can
use
the
DRIVE
RESET
button
(located
on
the
right
side
of
the
computer).
