Configuring a DHCP ADSL connection – RFC 1483
If your ISP uses a DHCP DSL connection, your ISP may tell you to set
unique path and circuit numbers (called VPI and VCI) in order to connect
your Commander Pulse to the ISP’s Internet service. In most cases, your
Commander Pulse will use default settings, so you may not need to enter
these values.
Note
Your ISP will provide you with the VPI/VCI values necessary to
setup a DHCP DSL connection.
1. From the “ADSL Modem”: Types of Access page select “DHCP” ,
2. Click “Next>”. The following page is displayed
3. Select the option as indicated by your ISP. The following page is
displayed
4. Enter the VPI and VCI settings supplied by your ISP
