and Report Revised: 2019-01-31
CONSTRUCTION DETAILS:
GROUNDING:
All exposed dead-metal parts and all dead-metal parts inside the
enclosure which may be exposed to contact during any servicing operation,
including maintenance and repair, and that may become energized, are reliably
connected to the grounding conductor of the power supply cord unless otherwise
indicated. This connection is maintained by means of green colored insulated
jumper wires, by contact between unpainted or plated steel metal surfaces, by
welding or by self-tapping sheet metal screws with serrated heads or star
washers to cut through painted surfaces or R/C (RFWV2/8) quick connector with
detent locking action.
INTERNAL WIRING:
All line voltage internal and low voltage internal wiring is R/C
(AVLV2), rated 300 V, 105 C minimum, VW-1 for UL and FT1 for cUL. The high
voltage wiring is R/C (AVLV2), No. 22-14 AWG, rated 105C minimum and rated 10
kV dc minimum. All wiring associated with components of circuits identified
as line voltage, high voltage, or low voltage circuits are routed away from
un-insulated live parts of the other two circuits. The high voltage wiring is
also mechanically segregated from wiring in the line and low voltage circuits
and from dead-metal parts. All wiring is reliably routed away from sharp
edges, moving parts and the high voltage transformer stack and magnetron
frame.
ENCLOSURE OPENINGS:
General - The enclosure is not provided with any openings which allow
the insertion of an insulated wire into any microwave-energy-containing spaces
with the door closed, which would result in microwave radiation emission in
excess of 5 mW/cm².
Through any openings on the outer enclosure, CSA probe (CSA C22.2 No
150-M89) Fig. 1 can not touch any internal wire and un-insulated parts
All ventilation or other openings shall be as described in the text of
the Report.
