ENGINEERING CONSIDERATIONS: (Not for Field Representative's Use)
The products covered by this Report are microwave cooking appliances
intended for household use. The appliances incorporate air cooled magnetrons,
with a transformer for the high voltage and filament voltage supplies, for
generating microwave energy. The ovens are provided with a minimum of two
door interlocks, designated as the primary and secondary interlocks, which
serve to prevent generation of microwave energy when the oven door is opened.
The product is provided with an interlock monitor circuit which
functions if there is failure of the monitored interlocks thereby terminating
operation of the appliance. It is then necessary to have the product serviced
by a qualified serviceman.
For the schematic diagram, refer to the Ill.1 for UL Models and the
Ill.2 for cUL Models. Refer to ILL. 2A for both UL&CUL Models.
For the schematic diagram of MM720C##-PM, MM720C##-PMB, refer to the
ILL. 9 for UL Models and the ILL. 9A for cUL Models.
USL indicates compliance with the applicable requirements in the
Standard for Microwave Cooking Appliances, UL 923 fifth Edition.
CNL indicates compliance with the applicable requirements in the
Standard for Microwave Ovens, CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 150-M89.
