Station and Line Board Installation (Hands on)
Objectives
• Install the instructor-provided line and station boards in your group’s FX II system.
• Ensure proper operation (correct status light indications) of installed line and station boards.
Background
Since these systems will be used in class for VMMI study and programming, the line and station
boards slot placement will be uniform for all groups in the class.
Follow the Guidelines below:
Universal Slot 5 = T-1 board
Universal Slot 4 = DID/E&M Tie Line Board
Universal Slot 3 = Provided Loop Start Line Board
Universal Slot 2 = Provided IST Board
Universal Slot 1 = Provided Digital Station Board
Students may install these boards with the power on, but they must use the pre-charge jacks on
the line and station boards.
