Exercise Setup 
Use Section 9, Programming Reference Guide for help with this exercise. 
Task Comments 
1. Open your Class.dbr database if you haven’t 
already done so. 
You will add Station programming to your database. 
2.  Go to the Program pull-down menu and select the 
Stations option. 
Program information into the system using the data 
provided on the following tables. 
3.  Give the following names to the listed Personal 
Intercoms: 
1001: Larry 
1002: Bob 
1003: Bart 
Name refers to what is seen in the LCD display of a 
phone. 
Full Name refers to what is seen in a CTI application 
box. 
4.  Put station 1001 in Day & Night COS Group 25. 
Put station 1002 in Day & Night COS Group 15. 
 Put station 1003-1015 in Day & Night COS Group 5. 
Use Feature Based programming as a time-saver. 
Refer to Section 9 Programming Reference Guide for 
details. 
5.  Set stations 1001 and 1002 to Direct Ring on lines 
1-8. 
6.  Set station 1003 to Delay Ring on lines 1-8. 
7.  Button Map stations 1001-1004 with lines 1-6 on the 
first 6 buttons. Button Map station 1005 with lines 1-
8 on the first 8 buttons.

on Button Mapping. 
8. Assign a Console to port 16. Your instructor will 
provide the type of console. 
Assign the console on port 16 to station 1001. 
When a port is assigned as a console port, it can no 
longer be programmed with other station features. You 
can button map the console from the station it was 
assigned to. 
9. Install a Bridged Console on station 1002. Your 
instructor will provide the type of console. 
Bridged consoles do not need to be associated with a 
digital station port. However, only a maximum of 16 
can be used throughout the system. 
10. Set the Prime Type for stations 1001 to 1014 as 
Intercom. 
Use Feature Based programming as a time-saver. 
11. Assign 10 Speed Dial Sets to 1001 and 1002. 
Each Speed Dial Set contains 10 station speed dial 
numbers. 
12.  Save your database and continue to Copy Station 
Programming.
