Station Hunting Programming
Step 1 – Add the Hunt Groups – Station hunt groups are identified by means of a pilot
number and must be added in the system data base. This is the extension number that callers
use to call or route calls to this hunt group. You must enter a pilot number in order to add a
station hunt group.
Step 2 – Program the Member List – A station hunt group may contain all stations in the
system but is limited to personal intercom numbers only. Each hunt group may include the
maximum number of stations that the system can support; however, due to system memory
limitations, all hunt groups may not contain all stations simultaneously.
Step 3 – Program the Ringing Assignments – Use the hunt group ringing assignments to
choose the line ports that you want to ring at a station hunt group.
Step 4 – Program the Options – Options are the control and informational items about the
hunt group. Some of these items are:
• Hunt Name • Search Type • Call Advance Time
• Overflow Time • Recall Time • Queue Ringing Calls
