Button Mapping Screen
The Button Mapping screen graphically displays the DSS/BLF and keypad of the telephone
or console installed at that station.
The button mapping
screen includes a
Feature Code glossary
that supplies hints so
that you do not need to
remember the exact
feature code name.
The system permits assignment of one function at a
first level and a different function at a second level
for each button. Assign functions that require status
light feedback at the first level because the system
does not provide status light feedback to buttons at
the second level.
Entries that require additional numbers
(such as intercoms, lines, and so forth)
present a Browse list from which you
can choose and click an entry and click
OK to accept. Alternately, you can
type the number manually.
On Impact SCS
model telephones,
you can move the
intercom button
from its defaulted
location at the
lower rightmost
b
utton to any other
button location;
however, you
cannot delete the
intercom button
assignment from
the telephone.
3. From the Button Mapping Screen,
place the cursor in the box you wish
to edit.
4. Enter in the Feature Code.
5. Press Enter on the keyboard.
6. Click on the Close button when done.
[TIP]: To delete an entry, place the cursor in the box and
press Delete on the keyboard; or type the opening
parenthesis, ( , for the (None) prompt and press Enter.
