Rear-facing Belt Lock-off
Avoid serious injury or death:
• Failure to use the rear-facing belt lock-off where required
will result in car seat not being securely held in place.
• Remove rear-facing belt lock-off from vehicle seat belts
when not being used with car seat.
WARNING - DEATHor SERIOUS INJURY can occur
Rear-facing belt lock-off (fig. a) is used for rear-facing
installation when using a lap and shoulder belt with
sliding latch plate.
Rear-facing belt lock-off is stored in pocket on back of
seat pad.
Install car seat rear-facing on vehicle seat.
Route lap belt through rear-facing belt path.

Open rear-facing belt lock-off. Rotate locking tab
down and lift lock-off cover (fig. b).
