13b. Changing Harness Slot Positions
•Rear-facing
- Shoulder harness straps must be
through harness slots at or just
below child’s shoulders (fig. j).
•Forward-facing
- Shoulder harness straps must
be at or above shoulders (fig. k).
- Only use the 3rd set or top set of
harness slots forward-facing (fig. l).
- Discontinue use of car seat if child’s
shoulders are above top harness
slots.
