Description: Pink to red to reddish
brown with large rays widely scattered
and readily visible with the unaided
eye. Prone to having numerous knots
and burls with all clear wood the
exception rather than the rule.

Uses: Decorative veneer for kitchen
and bath cabinets and millwork.
Highly suited to rustic applications
due to tendency to have numerous
