Operating – Arctic Conditions [See Figure 11]
When operating in Arctic or Cold conditions, the trigger guard may be opened to obtain easier access to
the trigger while wearing thick or arctic mittens or gloves.
• To open the trigger guard: Depress the trigger guard plunger and rotate the guard downward against
the pistol grip.
• To close the trigger guard: Depress the trigger guard plunger and rotate the guard back into place.
CARE SHOULD BE TAKEN WHEN THE TRIGGER GUARD IS OPEN, AS THE FIREARM
COULD EASILY BE FIRED OR DISCHARGED CAUSING DEATH, INJURY, OR DAMAGE
TO PROPERTY.
