ADDITIONAL STRIPPING

• Remove the extractor pin [1] using a suitable punch.

• Remove the extractor and spring assembly do not separate the spring from

the extractor or the rubber insert from the extractor spring. Ensure that the

“D-ring” is present.

• Push the receiver pivot pin [2] all the way to the right.

• Separate the upper and lower receivers.

• Press in on buffer [3], depress the buffer retainer [4], and release the buffer under control.

• Remove the buffer and return spring [5].

• Ensure that the elastomeric (black rubber) spring [6] is in place. It may be removed for cleaning.
