ADJUSTMENTS

SECTION 4 – Adjustment

Colordyne 1600-S Drive Belt Tension Adjustment

REQUIREMENT: To ensure the Drive Belt has the proper tension.

ADJUSTMENT:

1. Unplug the machine and remove the Right-hand Side Cover. (6 screws)

2. Loosen the two screws [1] that mount the Main Drive Motor to the Frame.

3. Move the Motor up or down to obtain a Belt deflection of between 0.085" and 0.065" when a force

of 1 lb. is applied as shown.

4. Tighten the two motor mount screws [1].

5. Recheck the adjustment.

6. Replace the Right-hand Side Cover.
