• For outdoor use only.
• Never use inside house, camper, tent,
vehicle or other unventilated or enclosed
areas. This grill consumes air (oxygen). Do
not use in unventilated or enclosed areas to
avoid endangering your life.
Operation
DANGER
• EXPLOSION - FIRE HAZARD
• Propane is heavier than air and can
accumulate in low places. If you smell gas,
leave the area immediately.
• Always attach or detach propane source
outdoors; never while grill is lighted, near
flame, pilot lights, other ignition sources or
while grill is hot to touch.
• This grill is very hot during use and can
ignite flammables too close to the burners.
Minimum distance from sides and back of
unit to walls or railings is 24 inches (61 cm).
Do not use under overhead unprotected
combustible construction. Keep gasoline and
other flammable liquids and vapors well away
from grill.
■ Do not attempt to operate until you have read
and understood all General Safety Information
in this manual and all assembly is complete
and leak checks have been performed.
To Light
Match Light Grills
■ Set on sturdy, flat surface. For outdoor use only.
■ Remove grill surface.
■ Hold lighted match near burner and open
regulator valve. (Fig. 11)
■ If the grill is hot, use proper protective
equipment.
WARNING
• BURN HAZARD
• This appliance will be hot during and after
use. Use insulated oven mitts or gloves
for protection from hot surfaces or splatter
from cooking liquids.
• Never leave grill unattended when hot or
in use.
• Keep out of reach of children.

■ Check and clean the burner/fuel tubes for
insects and insect nests. A clogged tube can
lead to a fire beneath the appliance.
■ Note: Use Coleman
®
16.4 oz. disposable
propane cylinders. The LP-gas supply cylinder
to be used must be constructed and marked
in accordance with the specifications for
LP-gas cylinders of the U.S. Department of
Transportation (DOT) or the National Standard
of Canada, CAN/CSA B339, Cylinders, Spheres
and Tubes for the Transportation of Dangerous
Goods.
WARNING
• Perform leak test outdoors.
• Extinguish all open flames.
• NEVER leak test when smoking.
• Do not use the outdoor grill until connec-
tion has been leak tested and does not leak.

■ Proper location of the burner with respect to
the orifice is important. To verify the proper
installation of the burner tube, remove the
cooking surface and the cooktop. The burner
tube, fuel tube, and orifice (on the regulator)
should be positioned as shown in Fig. 10.

• Esta parrilla se pone muy caliente cuando
está usándose y puede encender artículos
inflamables cerca de los quemadores. La
distancia mínima que se debe mantener entre
paredes y barandas y los lados y parte trasera
de la unidad es por lo menos a 24 pulgadas
(61cm). No la use debajo de edificaciones
combustibles que no estén protegidas.
Mantenga la gasolina y otros líquidos y
vapores inflamables bastante alejados del
calefactor.
Para Encender
Parrillas de Encendido con
Fósforos
■ Póngala en una superficie fuerte y plana. Para
usarse solamente al aire libre.
■ Quite la superfice de la parrilla.
■ Mantega el fósforo encendido cerca del
quemador y abra la válvula del regulador.

■ Si la parrilla está caliente, use el equipo de
protección apropiado.
ADVERTENCIA
• PELIGRO DE QUEMADURA
• Este aparato se mantiene caliente durante
y después de su uso. Use agarraderas o
guantes aislantes para protegerse contra
las superficies calientes y las salpicaduras
de los líquidos para cocinar.
• Nunca deje la parrilla desatendida cuando
está caliente ni en uso.
• Manténgala fuera del alcance de los niños.
■ Una buena llama deberá ser azul con la
punta un poco amarilla. Algunas puntas
amarillas en las llamas son aceptables
siempre y cuando no aparezcan
depósitos de carbón o de hollín. (Fig. 15)

CUIDADO
NO ponga ninguna olla ni sartén en la super-
ficie de la parrilla. Esto ocasionará daño y
anulará la garantía.
■ Regule la llama
con la válvula
del regulador.

NOTA: Si la llama del quemador se apaga
accidentalmente, apague la válvula del
regulador y espere 5 minutos antes de
volver a encender el aparato.

Parrillas con Encendido
Electrónico
■ Póngala en una superficie fuerte y plana. Para
usarse solamente al aire libre.
■ Abra la válvula del regulador y presione el
botón de encendido repetidas veces hasta
que el quemador encienda. (Fig. 12 y 13)
Nota: Si el encendedor no enciende la parrilla,
use un fósforo para encender el quemador. Si
la parrilla está mojada puede que el encendedor
no chispee .
■ No intente usarla hasta tanto haya leido y
comprendido toda la Información General de
Seguridad en este manual y completado todo
el ensamblaje y que haya sido efectuado la
comprobación por fugas.
