General Handling

General Storage
advice:
Store in tightly closed original containers in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place. Do not
store above 120°F. Keep opened containers tightly closed and upright to avoid spills.
Do not puncture or incinerate cans, even if empty. Do not stick a pin, nail, or any sharp
object into the spray nozzle.

Advice on system design: Ensure adequate ventilation. To prevent vapor build-up, open doors and
windows or use an explosion-proof exhaust fan to ensure fresh air
exchange during and after use.
General safety and hygiene
measures:
Read and follow label precautionary statements. Handle in accordance
with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Keep away from food,
drink and animal feeding stuffs. Immediately remove all contaminated
clothing. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Hands and/or face
should be washed before breaks and at the end of the shift.
Personal protective equipment
Body protection: Body protection must be chosen based on level of activity and exposure.
Eye protection: Face shield and safety glasses.
Hand protection: Chemical resistant protective gloves such as Neoprene or Nitrile.
Respiratory protection: Use with adequate ventilation equal to outdoors. If unavailable, wear a
NIOSH-certified (or equivalent) organic vapor/particulate respirator.
