❐ To make coffee, use only fresh drinking water at room tempera-
ture.
❐ Never place the coffee pot on a hot stovetop.
❐ Do not use the coffee machine without water.
❐ Never use the appliance if the glas pot is damaged. Only use
the glas pot with this appliance. Use it very carefully; it is fragile.
❐ The prepared coffee is hot; be careful when handling hot liquids.
❐ Never pour water into a machine that is already on. In the worst
case, you could scald yourself on a sudden burst of steam.
❐ The hotplate can become very hot. Do not touch it or place ob-
jects on it.
❐ Use only the accessories supplied or accessories expressly rec-
ommended by the manufacturer.
❐ The hotplate remains switched on even after the end of the
brewing process! Always switch off the appliance if the hotplate
is not in use.
❐ Do not leave the glas pot standing on a hotplate which is switched
on if the glas pot is empty.
❐ Do not place the appliance below kitchen wall units or similar
cupboards. The rising steam could cause damage to them!
❐ Never fi ll the hot glas pot with ice-cold water.
