• Refitbattery
• Within7secondspress‘000’
• Lockwillberesettofactorydefaultsettings(AToptiononly).

REM 2isintendedforusewhenthereisaneedforthedoortobe
releasedbyanalarmsystem,suchasafirealarm.Thisenables
emergencypersonneltorapidlycheckthatnooneistrapped,
overlookedinclassrooms,wards,guestrooms,etc.duringan
emergencyevacuation,orduringafiredrill.Whenactivatedby
analarmREM2willmaintaintheunlockedconditionfor30
minutes.DuringthistimetheRedLEDwillflashonceevery
secondandBEEPtoindicatetheunlockedcondition.Thelock
willautomaticallyreverttonormalafter30minutes.Ifrequired
Program11canbeusedtorevertthelocktonormalbeforethe
30minuteperiodhasfinished.
LOCKED/UNLOCKED STATUS INDICATION
UsingProgram15theBlueandRedLEDscanbeprogrammed
toindicatelockedandunlockedstatus.
BATTERY POWER
TheCL5000Electronicshouldprovideinexcessof200,000
openingsfromthe4xAAcellsratedat2,900mAh.
LOW BATTERY
WhenthebatterypowerislowtheRedLEDwillflash5times
beforetheBlueLEDflashestosignalacceptanceofthecode.
Batteriesshouldbechangedassoonasthishappens.
REM 1isintendedforusewhenthereisaneedtoallowa
visitortoopenthedoorafterhavingbeenidentifiedbyintercom
orbysightfromwithin.REM1wouldbeconnectedtoapush
buttononareceptiondesk,ortotheappropriatebuttononan
intercom.PushingthebuttonwouldcausetheBlueLEDtolight
andwouldreleasethelockforthenormalsettime.
REMOTE RELEASE OPTION
Thelockhas2setsofterminalsforremoterelease,labelled
REM1andREM2ontheprintedcircuitboardinthefronthousing.
Cablesareprovidedwiththelockfortheseconnections.
