THISDEVICEMEETSINTERNATIONALGUIDELINESFOREXPOSURETORADIO
WAVES
Yourmobiledeviceisaradiotransmitterandreceiver.Itisdesignednotto
exceedthelimitsforexposuretoradiowaves(radiofrequency
electromagneticfields)recommendedbyinternationa lguidelines.The
guidelinesweredevelopedbyanindependentscientificorganization(ICNIRP)
andincludeasubstantialsafetymargindesignedtoassurethesafetyofall
persons,regardlessofageandhealth.
TestsforSARareconductedusingstandardoperatingpositionswiththe
devicetransmittingatitshighestcertifiedpowerlevelinalltestedfrequency
bands.
Duringuse,theactualSARvaluesforthisdeviceareusuallywellbelowthe
valuesstatedabove.Thisisbecause,forpurposesofsystemefficiencyand
tominimizeinterferenceonthenetwork,theoperatingpowerofyour
mobiledeviceisautomaticallydecreasedwhenfullpowerisnotneededfor
thecall.Thelowerthepoweroutputofthedevice,theloweritsSARvalue.
Ifyouarenotusinganapprovedaccessoryensurethatwhateverproductis
usedisfreeofanymetalandthatitpositionsthedevicetheindicateddistance
awayfromthebody.

Administrationhavestatedthatifpeopleareconcernedandwanttoreduce
theirexposuretheycoulduseahands‐freedevicetokeepthedeviceaway
fromtheheadandbodyduringphonecalls,orreducetheamountoftime
spentonthedevice.
Yourdeviceisequippedwithabuilt‐inantenna.Foroptimaloperation,you
shouldavoidtouchingitordegradingit.Asmobiledevicesofferarangeof
functions,theycanbeusedinpositionsotherthanagainstyourear.Insuch

ThisdevicecomplieswithIndustryCanadalicense‐exemptRSSstandard(s).Operationis
subjecttothefollowingtwoconditions:
(1)thisdevicemaynotcauseinterference,and(2)thisdevicemustacceptany
interference,includinginterferencethatmaycauseundesiredoperationofthedevice.
