“Preference”:
Your preference for which type of mobile network to use.
“Roaming Connection”:
When your device tries to connect to a different telecom provider than your
normal one (in another area or country for example), you can set your device to
forbid, ask, or always connect to the new telecom network.
APN
Check the documentation that came with your SIM card to nd out how to con-
gure these settings.
Type in the server name, select the authentication method (“PAP”, “CHAP” or
“None”). Then type in the user name and password (not needed if you set the
“Authentication” parameter to “None”). Finally, enter the Proxy address and the
Port number.
