16.9.4 Rotation torque and mechanical stroke end of
the winch (Limiting device "HO")
Crane in overload condition caused by the intervention of the winch load
limiting system or of the mechanical stroke end device.
In case of activation of the winch load limiting device due to overload condition,
only the descent of the winch cable is allowed.
Crane in working condition but with winch extension block.
In case of activation of the winch stroke end device during extension, the fol-
lowing manoeuvres will be disabled:
- winch cable descent
If the crane is in block condition and has also reached the winch cable
stroke end in extension, the limitations imposed by the overload are bin-
ding, as above exposed for the crane.
16.9.5 OVERRIDE -Reactivation lever for the crane
functions with limiting device "HO"
- In case the hydraulic limiting device HO is out of order:
Firstly remove the protection guard. Then unscrew the fixing screws (13
mm hexagonal spanner).
On the distributor it has been installed an emergency tap lever which
excludes the hydraulic limiting device (fig. 26) to be used if the hydrauli-
cs malfunctions.
Only In these situations it is permitted to remove the lead seal placed
on the tap lever and place it in the closed position.
- In case of an electrical failure:
Firstly remove the protection guard. Then unscrew the fixing screws (13 mm
hexagonal spanner).
Near the distributor it has been installed an electro-valve with a manual locking
function (fig. 27) which allows to reactivate all the crane functions in case of
absence of the electric power.
Only in these conditions it is permitted to remove the lead seal which protects
the device.
Push the button and turn it into the clockwise sense (fig. 22a pos. 1-2); the but-
ton stays in stable and closed position.
(!) When the electric power is restablished, remember to put the button
in its original position, turning it into the anti-clockwise sense. (fig. 28
pos. 3-4)
