Owner's Manual
INTRODUCTION:
The DUB1 DIGITAL TILT SENSOR is activated by the armed output of your vehicle's alarm system. Once activated, the
DUB1 integrates microchip nanomechanics and a digital signal processing (DSP) microprocessor to instantly and
continually analyze all pitch, yaw, and motion data. The result is a tilt sensor that, regardless of the conditions, detects
one degree of lifting or any minute motion of the vehicle without error. Even if the vehicle is parked on the steepest hill
the DUB1 will self-adjust and accurately responds to tilt, motion or other tampering. The DUB1 continually self-adjusts
so there is never any need for sensitivity adjustments.
MOUNTING THE SENSOR:
1. Select a suitable rigid and flat mounting location inside the vehicle that is horizontal (it does not have to be
perfectly level). Avoid placing directly on or near heating/air conditioning vents. Ideal locations include flat under-
dash braces, top of the transmission hump (under the carpet) or under a seat.
2. Wire the sensor as shown in the diagram below.
3. Test the sensor by arming the system and then slowly jack up the vehicle. Do this from all four side of the vehicle,
the sensor should trigger about 2 seconds after the vehicle has been tilted.
4. There are two levels for sensitivity. Level 1 (default) is the max sensitivity setting and will be activated at 1 degree
of tilt. Level 2 is the min sensitivity setting and will be activated at 3 degrees of tilt. To change the sensitivity level,
see the sensitivity setting below.
SENSITIVITY SETTING - BLACK LOOP:
Max Sensitivity - Default level, do not cut the BLACK loop.
Min Sensitivity- Cut the BLACK loop.
ARMING DELAY - WHITE LOOP:
10 second delay - Default level, do not cut the WHITE loop.
2 minute delay - Cut the WHITE loop.
