2. If the problem persists,:
a. Ensure proper alignment of cassette
position #12 and SL41 finger.
b. Clear any obstruction if possible.
c. Replace covers.
d. Ensure proper alignment of cassette
position #12 and SL41.
e. Clear obstruction if possible.
f. Press PAUSE/RUN to clear the error.
3. If the problem persists, call your Beckman
Coulter Representative.
2-42 SL42 Sample Tube Loading
Arm cylinder SL42 did
not fully extend / retract
and was unable to
activate its limit sensor.
The sample tube
gripper may have tried
to insert another
sample tube into a
cassette that already
contains a sample tube.
The limit sensors are
AS43 (up) and AS44
(down).

C-3 1. Open the right-side tabletop safety cover.
2. Ensure cassette at loading position #4 is fully
seated to the right in the cassette shuttle.
3. Ensure alignment of the sample tube in the
Sample Tube Loading Arm gripper fingers and
the cassette position immediately in front of
SN49.
4. Replace covers.
5. Press PAUSE/RUN to clear the error.
6. If the problem persists, call your Beckman
Coulter Representative.

Arm cylinder SL44 did
not fully extend / retract
and was unable to
activate its limit sensor.
