4.5.9 Manual control
Function With the Manual control function, you can test the operativeness of an
instrument that is connected to the relay. To do so, close or open the
relay manually and, while doing so, check the behavior of the
connected instrument.
Note
The settings for other functions in the Relay function menu, as for
example Frequency controller and Pulse-width contr., are retained
while the Manual control is carried out.
4.5.10 Alarm contact
Note
The Alarm contact function is only effective with systems with alarm
function (System 2020 XT).
Function The Alarm contact function triggers a relay action (close or open) if a
specified alarm event occurs. The Alarm contact function is only
available for relays that are not linked with a sensor. If necessary, an
existing link has to be deleted.

operating manual. Other possibilities of how to use the alarm function
are described there as well.
