4.0 Zones
Zones are designated spaces within an area, which are monitored by
the alarm system. Zones can be protected by devices such as
magnetic door contacts and motion detectors.
4.1 Zone Status Display
The Icon keypad displays the status of individual zones within a
partitioned system. It can show up to 96 open zones which are
displayed as follows:
• Zones 1 to 16 will illuminate on the left-hand side of the LCD
screen.
• Zones 17 to 96 will appear as digital numbers and will scroll
incrementally until 96, then repeat the cycle from 17 onwards
again.
