LCD Display: ALERT SYSTEM CLOCK NOT SET
Alert: System Clock Not Set
Cause: The clock for the pump is not set
Resolution: Use the BIOMED SETUP menu Date and Time option to set the date
and time.
LCD Display: ALERT THERAPY TIME INVALID
Alert: Invalid therapy time calculated
Cause: While programming or modifying an Intermittent therapy, the combination
of dose duration and dose frequency result in a prescription with a duration
greater than 288:00 HH:MM.
Resolution: Recheck data entry. The changes to the field must comply with the total
time limit.
LCD Display: ALERT TIME LESS THAN RAMP TIME
Alert: Unable to enter a TPN therapy time that is less than the ramp times
Cause: Time value entered for TPN infusion is less than ramp times.
Resolution: Recheck data entry. TPN infusion time cannot be less than specified ramp
times.
LCD Display: ALERT USING 2.0 ML DEFAULT, PRESS YES TO OFF FOR OFF
Alert: The air sensitivity currently being used by the pump is 2.0ml
Cause: YES was pressed at the “ACCEPT?” field on the Options menu and the
displayed setting in Options for the AIR SENS field is OFF, however, the
pump is using a setting of 2.0ml. This occurs when YES was not pressed
when the “AIR SENS OFF. Using In Line Filter?” alert screen was last
displayed and the down scroll arrow was used instead of the YES key to
pass the AIR SENS field on the Options menu. Alert is only displayed
when Options is displayed and pump is running.
Resolution: The cursor will be on the AIR SENS field when the alert is cleared. Press
YES to display the “AIR SENS OFF. Using In Line Filter?” screen. Press
YES if an air eliminating filter is being used. Press NO if no air
eliminating filter is being used.
LCD Display: ALERT VALUE PREVENTS A SUBSEQUENT DOSE
Alert: Value entered will prevent the ability to program any more doses
Cause: The value entered for the Variable Dose Amt or Time field will cause no
remaining amount or time for a subsequent.
Resolution: Recheck data entry.
