Glossary
This term... Means...
fixed station A transceiver that is permanently installed
and cannot be moved without significant
effort. It consists of a transceiver, a
transceiver supply, an antenna, control and

cables.
mobile station A station that is usually mounted in a
vehicle or is portable and easily
transportable. It consists of a transceiver, a
