USING THE WIZARD

 Press or to select the format that you want to use.
 If you want to review the information that you have entered, press or to
move through the entries.
 Press (Save) to save the information.
If you have not changed any of the time and date information, press
(Close).

Setting the location of the desk console
NOTE: This step in the wizard is shown if your control point is a desk console.
To set the location of the desk console:
 Press or to select the value that you want to use from the following:
• If the desk console is connected to the transceiver using cable
08-07205-00x, select Local.
• If the desk console is connected to the transceiver using an Ethernet cable
(08-07215-001), select Remote.
 Press (Save) to save the information.

Adding a channel
NOTE: This step in the wizard is shown if you are permitted to add channels.
To add a channel:
 Press (Yes) to add a channel, if required.
 Enter the name that you want to use for the channel.
 Press to move to the Tx entry.
 Enter the transmit frequency (in kHz) that you want to use for this channel.
 Press to move to the Rx entry.
The Rx entry is automatically filled with the transmit frequency.
 Enter the receive frequency (in kHz), if required to be different from the Tx
frequency.
