180 ENVOY™ TRANSCEIVER REFERENCE MANUAL
Overview of peripherals
Peripherals are devices that extend the capability of the transceiver system, for
example, an external data modem, an automatic tuning antenna, or a GPS receiver.
Each peripheral is attached to the transceiver via a compatible connector. In User
Data > Peripherals, you select the connector, scroll through the list of devices that
may be connected, select the device that you have connected, then restart the
transceiver to activate the default settings for this device. The transceiver
automatically picks the recommended values for the particular device.
NOTE: Peripheral devices in the table below that are marked with * have
values that may be changed to suit your requirements.
CAUTION: Codan recommends that you do not change the values for your device
unless absolutely necessary. Please contact your Codan representative
if you need assistance with your particular requirements.
