Switching the encryptor on or off
The 2220 Handset and 2230 Desk Console have hot keys that access the secure
feature directly. With the 2221 Handset, you access the secure feature via
Functions.
If you want secure to remain on at all times, you set this in Settings > Security >
Secure Start State.
To switch the encryptor on or off:
If you are using a 2220 Handset or 2230 Desk Console, press
SEC.
If you are using a 2221 Handset:
•Press (Options).
• Press or to scroll to the Secure On|Secure Off option.
•Press (Select).
Secure is toggled on or off across all available encryptors.
