Selecting digital voice mute

NOTE: Digital voice mute is available when AES-256 digital voice encryptor

is active.

To select digital voice mute:

 If you are using a 2220 Handset or 2230 Desk Console, press

SEC, then

press

V/S until D is shown in the centre of the title bar on the channel screen.

 If you are using a 2221 Handset:

• From the main menu, select (Functions).

• Press or to scroll to the Secure function.

•Press (OK).

•Press (Options).

• Scroll to V/S/D.

•Press (Select).

• Repeat these steps until D is shown in the centre of the title bar on the

channel screen.
