SUN-500 CURTAIN/SUN BLIND SWITCH [2] Switch off the mains power before you begin installation or removal of this product. [1] Set the code switches to a desired number and letter combination. The COCO transmitter (e.g.
SUN-500 CURTAIN/SUN BLIND SWITCH [3] If applicable: remove the existing unit with which you have controlled your rolling shutters, sun blind, curtains etc. in the past. [4] Connect 230 V mains power to the product: (1) Connect the (brown) “hot wire” to terminal “L”, and (2) connect the (blue) “neutral wire” to terminal “N”. Tighten the clamping screws.
SUN-500 CURTAIN/SUN BLIND SWITCH i COM Explanation: The module contains 2 switches. These terminals have no connection to the 230 VAC on F and N and are voltage-free. This makes it possible to switch low-voltage motors without any problem! In the rest position, the common contact (COM) is not switched. After an on/off signal from your COCO transmitter, this switches either to the left or the right contact. A built-in timer always switches the COM contact back to the rest position after approx.

The motor has 4 wires: earth (yellow/green), neutral (blue) and 2 hot wires: F1 (brown) and F2 (black). The position of F1 and F2 determines whether the blind is raised or lowered when the ON and OFF buttons are pressed on the COCO transmitter. These two terminals can be interchanged without causing any problem. [5B] Low-voltage motors (e.g. 24 V).

For every command (raise/stop/lower) the same button on the transmitter must be pressed two times. [5D] Two minute switching (230 V, fan or stairwell lighting). The SUN-500 can be activated with a switched COCO transmitter (e.g. KCT-510 keychain with remote control or PIR-2050 motion detector) and switches off automatically after approx. two minutes.
SUN-500 CURTAIN/SUN BLIND SWITCH [6] Install the product in a standard junction box or other type of housing (e.g. the motor housing). Close the housing. [7] Switch on all the power again.
SUN-500 CURTAIN/SUN BLIND SWITCH Remarks Reminders • This product is a switch/receiver and is intended to control motors for sun blinds (rolling shutters, miniblinds etc.) by means of a suitable COCO transmitter. • Only COCO transmitters on which a letter code (="house code") is set manually are suitable to control the SUN-500. COCO transmitters that contain a pre-programmed code (part number begins with "A") are not suitable for this product. • The receiver only works with a 230 Volt power supply.

Switch the mains power on again once you are completely finished with the installation/removal. • This product is not intended to control doors. Attention: The wireless codes in this product can be cracked by third parties, and this product has no protection against unintentional obstacles (e.g. a person or car in the door opening).
