a-live™ Multi-Zone Network Audio System
Simply plug the a–live™ into your existing computer network, and play digital music directly from your PC to any and
all zones. Streamed audio files can be played from the same playlist simultaneously among different zones. For example,
if a user in zone one selects a song to start playing, a different user in an other zone can select the same song to play, from
the beginning, without interfering with the current play in zone one. Or choose to play a completely different song. Each
of the six zones may independently select the same, or different songs, all from the same playlist. Most major unprotected
formats are supported.
An intuitive GUI interface allows you to remotely program and control any zone from a PC. This works perfect with
laptops on wireless enabled networks. For large–scale environments, dozens of a-live™ units can be networked together
and all controlled via the same GUI.
Optional a-live™ keypads (shown) provide total zone control, including volume w/mute, tone, and full control of all
PC-based music including forward, back, pause and scrolling information of artist and song name. Keypads also have
IR remote control capability for external source devices such as DVD and CD players and home theater receivers.
The control unit features six amplified zones, each may independently select from up to six different sources, plus the
network input. The 8ohm residential model features six stereo channels, each with 20W RMS power output per channel.
The 70V model is designed for commercial distributed systems, where multiple speakers will be powered from each zone.
This unit features six mono channels, each with 20W RMS power output, capable of driving 25V or 70V distributed
speaker systems.
