Operation Manual
5. POWER CONNECTION
WARNING! Before operating the scarifier, ensure
that the fastening elements are undamaged.
In order to reduce the risk of injuries, always switch off the
motor and pull out the mains plug before working on the
machine.
The product can be connected to any socket (with 230-240V
alternating current). We recommend to always use the
appliance via a Residual Current Device (RCD) with a
tripping current of max. 30mA.
1). Mains leads on scarifiers are particularly susceptible to
insulation damage. The causes of this include the following:
- The cable may be cut if the scarifier passes over it.
- Damage through crushing if the mains lead becomes
stuck under doors or windows.
- Cracks caused by ageing of the insulation sheath.
- Kinks caused by incorrect fastening of the mains lead.
2). Such damaged mains leads should not be used under
any circumstances as they may cause fatal injuries due to their
damaged insulation sheath.
3). Always check the plug and cable and make sure they are
in good condition before operation.
