MFC-8320 Alarm Configuration Jumper
The Alarm Configuration Jumper enables or disables the audio alarm signal. The Alarm LED will still
be lit if alarm conditions are occurring, but the audio will be off.
Set to position 1-2 to enable the audio alarm
Set to position 3-4 to disable the alarm
Alarm Mute Button
If the optional CFM-8320 Cooling Fan Module is installed, there is an Alarm Mute Button on the right
side of the frame door front. If a card, that is in the frame, is reporting an error, pressing the Alarm
Mute Button will mute the audio alarm until another fault condition occurs.

Installing the Network Controller Card
Perform the physical installation of the MFC-8320-N controller card for the CFM-8320 using the steps
provided in the section Installing the Controller Card of this manual. Once the controller card is
installed, you can proceed to the section below to set up the Ethernet connection for your card.
