Install software updates manually
You can install software update packages manually if you know the location of
the software update package.s
1. Select BlueLinQ > Updates. The “Available Software Updates List” table
appears.
2. Click Install Manually. The “Install Manually” table appears; see
Figure 94.
3. To specify the location of the software package, do one of the following:
• Click the URL radio button.
Enter a URL beginning with either http:// or ftp:// to download the
package from a location on the Internet.
• Click the Upload radio button.
Click Browse to locate a file on your local hard disk drive.
• If you have previously downloaded software packages to the
/home/packages directory on your RaQ XTR server, you can choose
one of these packages from the table.
4. Click Prepare. The system verifies that the file is in the correct .pkg format.
The system then begins to load the software.
