CacheRaQ Cluster in Transparent Mode

Installation Notes

• Conﬁgure the Cluster Master for Transparent mode.

(The ﬁgure above shows a two-interface

conﬁguration. A one-interface conﬁguration is also

possible.)

• Conﬁgure the Cluster Slaves for Traditional Proxy

mode.

• Enter the Cluster Slave information into the Cluster

Master conﬁguration.

Advantage

No client-side conﬁguration is necessary.

Disadvantage

If the Cluster Master fails, the clients cannot access the

outside network until the Cluster Master comes back on-

line.
