5. Enter the IP address of the gateway for your network.

If your network does not have a gateway, do not enter a number—leave the

default value, “0

00.000.000.000.”

6. Press .

The LCD displays:

[S]AVE [C]ANCEL

7. To save the conﬁguration information, use the left and right arrow buttons to

select [S]ave, and then press . You will see:

VERIFYING AND SAVING

After verifying and saving, the RaQ 4 completes the boot process. The LCD

screen shows several messages before displaying the IP address assigned to the

RaQ 4.

Conﬁguration is complete when the LCD screen displays the IP address assigned

to the RaQ 4, for example:

IP ADDRESS:

192.168.25.77

Phase 2: Setting up with the Web

browser

The remainder of the setup process is performed through a Web browser on any

computer on your network. Use one of the standard browsers available (for

example, Netscape Navigator or Microsoft Internet Explorer, versions 4.0 or

later) to do this. Once the setup process is complete, the RaQ 4 can be managed

from any computer on the network that has a browser.

To use a browser to set up the RaQ 4, follow these steps:

1. Launch a standard Web browser on any computer connected to the network.

2. Enter the IP address of the RaQ 4 (shown on the LCD screen on the front

panel) into the URL ﬁeld of your browser—for example:

Return (or Enter) on your keyboard.

Note: Selecting [C]ancel cancels the conﬁguration and the LCD

screen displays ENTER IP ADDR: again. You must go through the

entry process again.
