Advanced Information
Serial console port
You can connect a console terminal to the DB-9 connector on the back panel of
the CacheRaQ 4. The terminal can be either an ASCII terminal or a PC running
terminal software. The console terminal should have the following
communications parameters—115 200 baud, 8 data bits, no parity and one stop
bit.
Initializing the CacheRaQ 4 through
the serial console port
You can now initialize a large number of Cobalt servers through the serial
console port rather than individually through the LCD console on each
CacheRaQ 4.
This feature only allows the assignment of network parameters (IP address,
netmask, gateway).
To initialize the CacheRaQ 4 through the serial console port:

browser-based Setup Wizard.
