Chapter 3: CacheRaQ 4 Administration
42 Cobalt CacheRaQ 4 User Manual
Filter setup
The CacheRaQ 4 is capable of filtering HTTP traffic that passes through it. The
Filter Setup screen allows you to choose among three options. See Figure 22.
• No Filtering. The CacheRaQ 4 allows all HTTP traffic. This is the default
option.
• Deny Access. The CacheRaQ 4 blocks access to specified sites and URLs.
• Limit Access. The CacheRaQ 4 blocks access to all sites and URLs except
ones that are explicitly specified. This can be useful in environments (for
example, educational environments) where only specific sites are intended to
be accessed.
If you use the Deny Access or Limit Access modes, enter the list of relevant sites
(server names or IP addresses) and URLs into the text window on this screen.
Click Save Changes at the bottom to activate your filtering configuration.
