Cache setup
Cobalt CacheRaQ 4 User Manual 41
To configure a new host or network for which you want to disable caching, click
Add Entry above the table. See Figure 21.
When you add an entry, the following items are required:
• Host or Network number (IP address). This is the address of the host or
network whose HTTP traffic you do not want to cache.
• Subnet mask for this host or network. This is the subnet mask for the host
or network. Common values are 255.255.255.255 for a single host and
255.255.255.0 for a class C network.
• HTTP Client(s) or HTTP Server(s). Choose Client Network/Host from the
pull-down menu to avoid caching HTTP traffic that originates from the
specified host or network. Choose Server Network/Host from the pull-down
menu to avoid caching HTTP traffic that is destined for the specified host or
network.
When you are finished, click Save Changes. The table reappears with the new
entry.
