1. When you see the prompt
PRIMARY IP ADDR:
0
00.000.000.000
enter the IP address assigned to the primary network interface (Network 1)
of the CacheRaQ 4 using the arrow buttons on the LCD console.
2. Press .
If the IP address is valid, the next prompt appears:
PRIMARY NETMASK:
2
55.000.000.000
3. Enter the IP address of the netmask of your network.
4. Press .
If the netmask is valid, the following prompt appears:
ENTER GATEWAY:
0
00.000.000.000
5. Enter the IP address of the gateway for your network.
6. Press .
The LCD displays:
[S]AVE [C]ANCEL
7. To save the configuration information, use the left and right arrow buttons to
select [S]ave, and then press . You will see:
VERIFYING AND SAVING
After verifying and saving, the CacheRaQ 4 completes the boot process. The
LCD screen shows several messages before displaying the IP address assigned to
the primary network interface of the CacheRaQ 4.
Configuration is complete when the LCD screen displays the IP address assigned
to the CacheRaQ 4, for example:
IP ADDRESS:
192.168.25.77
To change the settings, see “Set up network” on page 56.

Note: Selecting [C]ancel cancels the configuration and the LCD
screen displays PRIMARY IP ADDR: again. You must go through the
entry process again.
