Provide and install all cabling necessary to complete the full scope of work for all equipment provided and
designated owner furnished pieces of equipment. Provide termination in the Video Production Room,
Production Rack Room, Edit Suites, Audio Recording, and Sound Reinforcement Booth of all cable types
from throughout the facility as relate to the contracted scope of work. Any new facility cable extending to
points outside of the video/audio production area will be provided and installed by the Contractor. The
Contractor will provide and install the patchbays within the Production Rack Room.
Refer to AV0.00 for division of responsibilities related to the video production system.
1.5 SYSTEM DESCRIPTION
The majority of the system’s production equipment components shall be operated from the Video
Production Suite. All recording, distribution and control equipment will be housed in racks at this location.
Character generation systems will be provided for production as sources. Their primary function will be
character and graphics generation for the IMAG production system.
A fiber camera cable and video tie line infrastructure shall be installed throughout the facility for coverage
of any events within the facility by camera systems. These cables will terminate on patch bays in the
engineering racks.
The Worship Center System will consist of two 10,500 ANSI lumen rear projection systems fed HD-SDI
signals from a broadcast switcher located in the Video Production Suite. Confidence Projection systems
will consist of two 7,200 ANSI lumen front projection systems fed HD-SDI signals from a broadcast switcher
located in the Video Production Suite.
Primary control of the projection system will be by Network control thru IP addressable control devices.
Worship Center Projection System.
The video projection screen systems shall consist of two 10’W x 10.125’H flexible truss frame rear
projection screens.
The screens will be a truss-style aluminum frame as specified from the screen manufacturer. The
frames shall be mounted on-axis with the video projectors as detailed in the drawing set.
The image will be projected to the screen through .73:1 video projector lenses.
The AV systems contractor will coordinate with the General Contractor will assure that all walls in the
Production Control Room and Video Editing Rooms are colored flat gray, consistent with Kodak 18%
gray. Refer to drawings for formula examples.
1.6 SUBMITTALS
All Submittals to comply with Division 1.
Product Data: Submit within 30 days of contract award. Submit manufacturer's product data sheets for
each item of equipment that will be provided as part of this contract. Submit electronically as a single PDF.
All equipment cut sheets will be arranged per specification section number. Provide a table of contents and
a bookmark at the start of every product sheet.
A. Shop Drawings: Submit within 60 days of contract award. Failure to submit shop drawings with ample time
for evaluation shall not entitle the contractor to an extension of contract time. There will be no work
authorized on site without the prior submittal (and subsequent approval) of a complete set of shop drawings.
Any exceptions to this must be in writing and approved by the Consultant. Shop drawings shall indicate
complete details and dimensions of work to be performed. Shop drawings shall be formatted as outlined
below, and should contain, but not be limited to, the following details:
