2.16 VIDEO PROJECTION EQUIPMENT
Video Projection System
Contractor shall verify all site conditions, and ascertain final unit location and distance from screen.
Barco, Christie Digital, Panasonic, and Digital Projection alternative bids are acceptable with
equivalent performance and specifications. For Alternate equipment, must fit within architecture for
throw distance and lens offset. Consultant reserves the right to reject alternates based on these
requirements.
Contractor shall design and provide projector stands/mountings for each projection unit. Assuring
stable perpendicular placement of projector in relationship to the screen. Stand/mount shall allow
adjustment of projector roll (4°), pitch (25°), and yaw (25°) for precise registration of the device.
Contractor to submit these designs in drawing form to consultant prior to install.
Coordinate placement of all materials with Architect.

Rear Projection Screens
Screens to be furnished and installed by the video contractor.
Contractor to verify on-site conditions prior to ordering screens.
Installation of screens to be in accordance with manufacturer’s specification.

2.18 A/V FURNITURE
Equipment furniture color and work surfaces to be coordinated with Architect and owner.
Verify exact rack space requirements for accommodation of all new equipment, and provision of a service
lamp in the top of each equipment rack.
